Sunday, May 18th at 11 AM, meeting at Camp Jefferson on Weldon Rd. North or South
on Rt. 15 Take the Weldon Road exit near the Pathmark, Camp Jefferson is a mile or so down the road on your left. Admission
is $4.00 for members, $5.00 for guests. Refreshements will be served. We look forward to seeing you there!

1st Saturday of the month meet at 10 AM at Park Lake in Rockaway for our "Easy
Walk" for those less adventurous.
1st Sunday of the month meet at 11 AM at Lafayette Village near the Lafayette
House to walk the Paulinskill Trail.
We are
putting together an email list of people interested in Saturday or Sunday afternoon movie/Panera Bread excursions to the Rockaway
Mall. Sound good to YOU? Email to be put on the contact list.
Hikes
Sunday April 27th: meet at 11:00 AM at Hacklebarney State Park Visitor's
Center. 5+ mile moderate hike along rivers and aqueducts with some moderate climbing. Bring water and lunch, hiking
boots and poles are recommended. Directions: take I80 to exit 27a to 206 S to Chester. Turn on NJ 24 west.
About 1 mile from the traffic light turn left at the green sign. Make immediate sharp left turn and continue 2 miles,
at split turn right onto paved State Park Road and travel 3/4 mile. Look for brown, wood sign on the left indicating
the entrance to thte park. State Park Road (between the river and Chester Township Municiple Bld.) follow State Park
Road to Hacklebarney Rd and turn right, park entrance is on the left.
Saturday, May 17th:
11 AM at Beverwyck Park & Ride in Parsippany or 12 noon at the Sea Gull's Nest parking lot at Sandy Hook. No
Entry fee! Walk, bring your bike and Ride or bring your Sand Chair a drink and snack and veg on the Beach, your choice!
Dinner at a local restaurant follows. No need to pre-register just show up and join in the good time.
May 3rd: Join the OSF
Team on the Revlon Run/Walk for Women's Cancer in NYC, always a great time and for a great cause. Go to contact
page if interested in join our team.
Saturday May 24th: Join us
at the Doris Duke Park, Nature Tour and Display Gardens. Meet at the Duke
Farms 80 route 206 South in Hillsborough, NJ at 10 AM. Cost is $17.10 to join the guided tour, must register and pre
pay. Lunch on your own at the Sarah Jane's Restaurant approximately 1/2 mile away.
Saturday
May 31st: Pine Barrens Canoe Trip, bring lunch in a water proof bag along with dry clothes, towel,
cord to tie things to the canoe, suntan lotion, old sneakers or water shoes. If you wear glasses bring straps, we don't
want anyone losing anything on the water. Time on the river is approximately 3-4 hours, cost for canoe is $22.
Dinner follows at a local restaurant if you choose to join us. Garden State Parkway to exit 52 at New Gretna, turn left
on Greenbush Rd. and proceed to stop sign. Turn right on Rt. 9 and go to traffic light, turn right onto Rt. 679, Micks
is 9 miles on your left.
