Saturday January 31, 2015 8 AM Fire and Ice Festival Mount Holly NJ & Lunch  This is a free street festival that has many different activities from a Gingerbread House contest to Dog Sled demonstrations to a Chili contest. But the main attraction is the Ice Carving contest. This event takes place right on main street in Mt. Holly. The contestants will create a work of art from a block of ice right before your very eyes. We will meet at Waterview Park and Ride on Route 46 in Parsippany (next to Parsippany Post Office)at 8:00 AM Sharp or if you miss the 8:00 AM meeting then follow the directions to Mt Holly   & give me a call on my cell when you arrive & we will discuss where we will meet. Directions: take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 5 Burlington/Mount Holly. Take a right on Route 541 toward Mount Holly. Travel on Route 541 which turns into High Street into Mount Holly, follow the signs for parking. Sunday February 1, 2015 10 AM Walk at Horseshoe Lake & Lunch at Roxbury Diner

Take Eyland Ave off of Rt 10 in Roxbury. Go to the first parking lot on the right by the basketball courts. Sunday February 8, 2015 11 AM Everything Chocolate & Book Swap, DVD or. CD at Camp Jefferson.  Please bring something chocolate or even a non-chocolate to share with the group. We also will have a book swap at this meeting. So bring a book, DVD or CD so that you can then pick a book or such to take home to read on those cold snowy days. information Directions to Camp Jefferson:  Take Route 80 from either direction to Route 15 North.  Take 15 North to Weldon Road (which is approx. 5 miles north of Route 80).  The Weldon Road exit from Route 15 is immediately after the Lake Shawnee exit.  Proceed on Weldon Road 7/10 of a mile. Camp Jefferson will be on the left.  Turn in and proceed to the log cabin buildings.  Please park in the established parking spots. Saturday February 21, 2015 11 AM Washington’s Headquarters Tour.  Meet for breakfast/brunch at the Morristown Diner, 73 Morris Ave., Morristown, ordering off of the menu.  Promptly at 1:00 p.m we will begin a one-hour tour of Washington’s Headquarters, 30 Washington Place, Morristown.  Entry fee is $4.00 at the door or you can use your National Parks Senior Pass for free.  When you register, please include your telephone number so that we can notify you of any changes due to inclement weather – the snow date will be Saturday, Feb. 28. .  Driving directions  to Morristown Diner 73 Morris Ave., take 287 South towards Morristown – take exit 36 Lafayette Ave CTY HWY 510, – turn left on to Ridgedale Ave., make a right onto  Morris St.

Sunday March 1, 2015 10AM Silas Condict Trail Walk and Lunch We will meet in the parking lot of Silas Condict. Directions Take RT 23 North or South to Kinnelon Rd. Up the hill thru 3 traffic lights to William Louis Arthur Drive. Entrance to Park is on the Right, after the little Cemetery. If you pass the municipal building you missed the turn.  Saturday March 7, 2015 1:00 PM Grasshopper Irish Pub and Restaurant, Rt 23, Newfoundland. Join your friends for an early St. Patrick's Day lunch. The Grasshopper serves traditional Irish and American foods, and is located in the center island of Rt. 23 at Clinton Rd., in Newfoundland.. Directions: if traveling northbound on Rt 23, from Wayne, Pompton area, take the right hand jug handle at Clinton Rd in Newfoundland, turning left at the end of the exit. Crossover Rt 23 north and make a right into Grasshopper parking lot. Traveling south on Rt. 23 from the Sussex County area, exit at Clinton Rd jug handle just past the BP gas station. There will be a return to our highly successful plant swap and voting for the New OSF 2015-16 Board.  All this, sub sandwiches and light refreshments. Come enjoy a Sunday afternoon, and don’t forget to bring a plant to swap. Sunday March 22, 2015   12 PM "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Smiling Rhino Theater,       & Lunch  245 Wanaque Ave,  Pompton Lakes, NJ SOLD OUT  The show starts at 2 PM     and if you would like you can meet us for lunch at Tony's Pizza/Italian Restaurant (across from the theater) at 12 PM. Directions: Route 287 North exit 53 (Bloomingdale/Pompton Lakes),     at the end of the ramp (the traffic light) make a right turn onto the Hamburg Turnpike. Go through another light, go over the railroad tracks and pass one more traffic light then stay to your left and make the 1st left (at the bell) onto Wanaque Ave. About 0.2 miles on your right you will see the Rhino Theater, directly to the right of the theater there is a driveway, go down driveway where there is a big parking lot behind the theater.
